i would really like to play emcee in a production of cabaret.

like frank n furter (from rocky horror picture show, another dream role) the emcee has this sort of unconventional sexiness. it’s the sort of sexuality i think i convey or try to, if that’s possible.
rather than the hypersexual alam cummings (and those who followed e.g. NPH, Adam Pascal) way of performing the character, i want to do the unorthodox sexualization of the character. it’s just how i truly imagine the character. </rant>

to sum it all up, i would like to play the character of emcee, just like joel gray.

i’ve said this a few too many times. and often too seriously.

it’s sad that there aren’t any fun suburban cabaret clubs. i just want some place i can go to every month, with shitty food and slutty girls singing beautifully.
